    Collaborated with the UX team on Rich Internet Application design guidelines for HSBCnet.

GLOBAL HEAD OF DESIGN, HSBC OPERATIONS, SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY

    Responsible for leading the high budget and highly secure Hong Kong 150 banknote design. Headed the project through a full cycle over a period of 3 years from brief creation, design, print and vendor management through to a very successful and celebrated implementation.
    Successfully promoted team skills and capabilities throughout the business, by leading events, selling our services developing the team intranet that allowed our customers to view our portfolio, access our templates and pick-up handy tips and tricks.
    Directed the team to create and document the User Interface (UI) design elements for the HSBC staff website – oversaw development, presented the UI to senior management for approval and managed the roll out.
    Drove the increase of operational efficiencies by identifying best practices, successfully setting up and streamlining team processes and automation, templating BAU, and re-routing work to our offshore team resulting in an increase of productivity by 30% year-on-year and actively improved the standard of quality overall.  


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Headed an international design team of 50, creatively and commercially, directly managed Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Production Managers and Team Leaders. Ensured adherence with brand guidelines and governance models.
    Delivered strategic below the line (BTL) projects for HSBC teams inclusive of internal / external online media, mobile, advertising, email, annual reports, pitch books and banknotes. Solving user problems, advised businesses and functions on design solutions.
    Responsible for the Implementation of up to 300 projects per month. Would personal project manage high-secure projects.
