I worked on a cross discipline, agile team to create a cloud based web application for the ﬁnance industry. I used Angular 1.5 and Typescript to deliver features as part of fortnightly sprints. I tested all of my technical work with Jasmine and Protractor. As the quality owner of the HTML & CSS it was my responsibility to set guidelines, advise on best practice and code review all front end work. I worked alongside the Product Owner and Head of UX to create stories that were technically feasible and well designed. My design duties included working with executives and external resources (i.e design agencies) to make sure the team had everything it needed to be able to produce work.

I worked in a team of three to build a web platform aimed at medical professionals. I used wireframes and style guides to build a responsive front end that was compatible down to ie8. I wrote all front end code for the site as well as consulting with the designer and client about UX and adivising on usability changes.

I worked in a small team of developers creating websites and applications for a variety of clients. I gained extensive knowledge of cross browser compatibility and RWD as well as building for mobile. I was introduced to new frameworks, languages and CMS’s very frequently (including PHP, .NET, ASP, Umbraco, CodeIgniter) and required to pick them up in a short space of time. I also advised the design team on UI/UX and the technical capabilities and pitfalls of their designs.

I undertook administrative duties on the secretariat reception and information desk, provided a ﬁrst point of contact for staff, their guests and museum visitors as well as taking switchboard calls. Assisted the front of house team by giving comprehensive information about the museum, exhibitions, collections and speciﬁc objects. I completed regular security checks and troubleshooted any problems in the galleries. I communicated with a wide variety of people including management and visitors.

This was an administrative position stocking and merchandising the book shop, gift shop and cafe. I managed the daily stock rotation by liasing with the managing director on forthcoming events and ordering accordingly.
